Passport photo guidelines
Our passport photos meet the requirements of the Australian Government and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). If your passport photos are not accepted, we’ll take another set free of charge.1
Note, most authorities require a passport photo that is less than 6 months old.

1 Identity photos should be re-taken within a reasonable timeframe. Your request to refund, replace or repair your passport photos or identity photos, must be accompanied by proof of purchase. If you can’t provide your Australia Post receipt, another form of proof of purchase will be required, such as a credit card statement, which clearly shows the purchase was from Australia Post.
